Cristian is from Thornton, Colorado, where his determination, leadership, and commitment to others have shaped the person he is today. From challenging himself academically by pursuing college-level coursework early in high school to balancing family responsibilities as a source of support for his siblings, Cristian has consistently pushed beyond expectations. As captain of his soccer team, he learned that leadership is about uplifting others, while his experiences mentoring young students through STEM activities showed him the importance of empowering others to discover their own potential. Whether helping his siblings with homework, supporting his teammates through challenges, or serving his community, Cristian approaches every responsibility with dedication and accountability. He will attend the University of Colorado Boulder to study mechanical engineering, where he hopes to design solutions that address challenges in his community and eventually create an engineering firm focused on serving others. Through his personal philosophy of leaving a positive impact, Cristian is committed to building a legacy of encouragement, innovation, and opportunity for those around him.
