Meaningful innovations are shaped by empathy, inclusion, and the voices of the people overlooked.
Lauren is from Americus, Georgia, a small rural community where she discovered that creativity and innovation can be powerful tools for expanding opportunity. Driven by a passion for inclusive design, she founded Laurynce Fragrances, a gender-neutral fragrance company that challenges traditional labels and encourages people to express themselves authentically. Her commitment to creating more equitable spaces extends beyond entrepreneurship. As class president for three years, Lauren helped bring SAT and ACT preparation courses and honor societies to her high school, opening new opportunities for students in her community. She plans to attend Kennesaw State University to study electrical engineering, where she hopes to develop products and systems that reflect the diverse needs and experiences of the people who use them. Looking ahead, Lauren envisions mentoring students of color and young women in STEM, believing that the most meaningful innovations are those shaped by empathy, inclusion, and the voices of communities too often overlooked.
