Drastically improve the health and wellbeing of my patients while fostering their trust in the healthcare system.
Robyn is from Chicago, where growing up in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood inspired her to tackle one of her community’s greatest challenges: access to healthy food. Motivated by a belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive, she founded R.E.D. BEDS, an initiative that builds raised garden beds from recycled materials and helps families grow their own fresh produce, promoting both food security and self-sufficiency. Her passion for improving community health extends into healthcare, where internships, clinical experiences, and certifications as a pharmacy technician and nurse assistant have strengthened her commitment to becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Robyn will attend the University of Michigan, where she looks forward to building the clinical knowledge and leadership skills needed to make a lasting difference in patients’ lives. Whether cultivating gardens or caring for patients, she is driven by the belief that healthier communities begin with compassionate people who are willing to take action.
